Haryana Receives Numerous Benefits Under Railway Budget ; Allocated Rs. 3,383Cr for the Fiscal Year 2024-25

Haryana has received several benefits under the railway budget, which includes an increase in budget allocation for Haryana Railways. For the fiscal year 2024-25, Haryana has been allocated Rs. 3,383Cr. CM Nayab Singh Saini expressed gratitude towards PM Narendra Modi and Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw

Saini mentioned that from 2009 to 2014, the average railway budget for Haryana was Rs. 315 crore, whereas our double-engine government has consistently increased the railway budget, resulting in today's budget touching mark of Rs. 3,383 crore. 

He stated that railway projects worth Rs. 15,875 crore are ongoing in Haryana. The RRTS project is also being expedited. He informed that the work of 100% railway electrification in Haryana has been completed. Furthermore, 34 stations in Haryana will be developed as Amrit Bharat Stations. These include Ambala Cantt, Ambala City, Bahadurgarh, Ballabhgarh, Bhattu, Bhiwani Junction, Charkhi Dadri, Faridabad, Faridabad New Town, Gohana, Gurugram, Hansi, Hisar, Hodal, Jind Junction, Kalanwali, Kalka, Karnal, Kosli, Kurukshetra Junction, Loharu, Mahendragarh, Mandi Adampur, Mandi Dabwali, Narnaund, Narwana Junction, Palwal, Panipat Junction, Pataudi Road, Rewari, Rohtak, Sirsa, Sonepat, and Jagadhri-Yamunanagar.
